This tool does not read or upload a file. Enter the size and page count you see in your PDF reader. It builds a checklist using official documentation checked October 4, 2026, not your account's remaining quota. It cannot estimate tokens or words from megabytes or pages.

What the tool checks

Consumer Gemini Notebook: 200MB per source and a separate 500,000-word limit; 50 sources on Free.
ChatGPT: 512MB per file and a separate 2-million-token document limit. Upload rate, shared storage, project counts and plan-specific visual reading are separate.
Claude chat: 500MB per file, 1,000 PDF pages; PDFs over 100 pages are text-only according to the current help. Claude Projects and API rules differ.

MB is entered as a decimal value. Near a product's boundary, follow the service's own measured size and error, not this estimate. We deliberately do not display an "accepted" green badge.

Worked examples

240MB, Gemini Notebook: the size exceeds 200MB; extract a relevant chapter or split into coherent sources, then check every output and available source slots.

18MB scan, ChatGPT: below the published byte cap does not prove the text or pictures can be read. Check the text layer and plan-specific PDF visual retrieval.

120-page illustrated PDF, Claude chat: under 1,000 pages does not mean all figures are read. The current help says 101-1,000-page PDFs use text only.
